Introduction to the Project of Longgu Coal Mine

　 　Longgu Coal Mine is a large mine with design capacity of 6,000,000 t/a, developed and constructed by Xinwen Mining Group.
　 　Located within territory of Juye County, about 200 km far away from the headquarter of Xinwen Mining Group, this coal mine enjoys the convenience of transportation, with Yanzhou-Xinwen Railway and No.327 National Road running through the coal field.
　 　This coal mine covers an area of 180k ?O , with 6 coal seam, and the average depth of the main seam (No.3 seam) is 8.82m. The main products are fat coal and 1/3 coke, which are high quality coking coal with low ash, low sulphur, low and high heat value. The total reserve of this coal field is 1.68 billion tons, among which the reserve of No.3 coal seam is 510 million tons. The coal seam enjoys a stable reserve and simple structure, which fits to mechanical driving. The service life of this coal mine will be 82 years.
　 　The construction period of this coal mine is 44 months. It is estimated that in July 2006 coal will be excavated, and in August 2007 the mine will be put into operation. The total investment (including coal washing plant) of this project is RMB 3.06 billion yuan.
